Maintenance Technician

3 x 12 hour shifts Friday to Sunday (no nights)

Salary £43,700, pension, life assurance, benefits package, 5 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays

• Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
• Do you have mechanical maintenance experience, with an Apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent?
• My client is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their advanced manufacturing facility in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Role

• As Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will undertake reactive and preventive maintenance on a range of automated production equipment in a continuous manufacturing operation.
• Maximise machinery output and product quality, and minimise plant downtime.
• Deliver efficient breakdown response whilst maintaining a safe and healthy environment and promoting good engineering practice.
• Working as part of a skilled, adaptable maintenance team, ensuring the maximum performance of manufacturing machinery and supporting a production shift in a continuous, multi-stage process.

The Candidate

• An experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
• Time served apprenticeship, City & Guilds (C&G), ONC, HNC, BTEC or equivalent.
• Ideally experienced in working in a continuous production environment.
• Team player, problem solver, proactive and adaptable.
