About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Operative with a Level 2 Legionella certificate to join our team in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of hot and cold water systems across multiple buildings within our facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with a broad range of maintenance skills, including joinery, plastering, painting, and carpet tile fixing.

Key Responsibilities: Water System Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on hot and cold water systems to ensure compliance with Legionella control regulations. General Maintenance: Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks including joinery, plastering, painting, and fixing carpet tiles.

Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of facility assets.

Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and inspections. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities.

Qualifications and Experience: Level 2 Legionella Certification is essential. Proven experience in general maintenance, including joinery, plastering, painting, and carpet tile fixing. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
