Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Maintenance Fitter looking for a new permanent opportunity with a major rolling mill company who are steel specialists in the Wednesbury and Walsall area? If yes, we want to hear from you!Annual Salary: £34,000 to £36,000 (DOE)Weekly hours: 6am - 2pm Mon to Thurs, 1pm finish on Fri (39 hrs a week)Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of rolling mills, slitters and other machinery
• Planning and undertaking scheduled PPM'S (planned preventative maintenance tasks) in relevant timeframes.
• Pro-active to call outs / breakdowns / line stoppages in timescales agreed.
• Diagnosing faults & repairing equipment
• Creating a spare parts solution plan
• Monitor breakdown and repair data using in house computer system
• Encourage continuous improvement and highlight deficiencies
• Attend meeting and training courses as required
• Ensuring that all machinery and equipment runs efficiently at all times with minimum downtime.
• Providing support to maintenance team, including coaching and mentoring staff
