Aufgaben

In this role, you will be part of an experienced mainframe team keeping the most vital banking services of one of the largest financial institutions in Austria up and running. Your focus will be on the mainframe database systems DB2 and Adabas and this will be your future day-to-day:

• Data modelling
• Building and designing database solutions
• System hardening & resilience
• Performance tuning
• Backup and restore incl. capacity clanning
• Incident and problem management

Furthermore you will act as a subject matter expert for all mainframe database topics and will be a vital interface to other (mainframe) departments.

Profil

You have a deep understanding and extensive experience in mainframe data base systems - either Adabas or DB2 (but preferably both)? You are also well-versed in other mainframe technologies such as JCL and REXX? Perfect!

If not, don't worry - if you have some experience with mainframe technologies - either as an architect, developer, system operator or in any other capacity - feel free to get in touch!

And even if your are currently working with other databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB) and you have no mainframe know-how up to now? Then we should also talk!

Salary
The salary range starts at 3800 gross per month - based on qualifications and experience.
