Logistics and Security Specialist - Outside IR35 - Farnborough

About the Role:
My client seeking a Logistics and Security Specialist to manage logistics, ensure compliance with MOD standards, and oversee security and export controls. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and expertise in MOD policies and logistics tools.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 month rolling contract
• Rate: £500 - £550 per day
• Determination: Outside IR35
• Location: Farnborough (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the movement and storage of equipment in compliance with MOD standards.
• Use MOD logistics tools like DCS and TORCS within a Front Line Command (FLC) environment.
• Ensure compliance with MOD policies, including JSP 440 (Security), JSP 491 (Cryptographic Materials), and JSP 441 (Records Management).
• Operate and maintain MOD systems such as JAMES and NDJI.
• Ensure export control compliance with ITAR and RTON regulations.
• Analyse logistics and security data using tools like Excel, and prepare detailed reports.

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics or equipment movement within an FLC context.
• Familiarity with MOD policies and systems.
• Knowledge of export controls, including ITAR and RTON.
• Proficiency in Excel for data management and analysis.
• Active SC or DV Clearance (Eligibility for DV clearance)
