Linux Administrator - German Speaking

Main Skills Required:

• 10+ years of proven experience as a Linux Administrator
• Extensive core understanding and experience on Linux Operating system (especially all the versions of Redhat, SUSE and CentOS) and possess relevant certification
• Proficiency in Server build (both physical and virtual), OS migration and platform migration (Physical to Virtual)
• Experience with high availability/Cluster (pacemaker) configuration and management
• Must have knowledge on Volume/storage management and troubleshooting skill
• Hands on experience in Virtualization technology VMWare (All versions)
• Strong knowledge in Shell Scripting/automation and preferable to have skill on python and Perl programming
• Knowledge on any configuration management tools such as a puppet, ansible and chef
• Excellence in problem solving abilities and incident handling
• Preferrable to have skill on cloud platform such as Azure
• Clear understanding on Network protocols, subnet, troubleshooting, analysis, and configuration
• Ensures server's patching and security compliance
• Must be able to prepare technical documents, present and maintain when require
• Preferable to have basic knowledge on the SAP, DB2 and Middleware applications
• Knowledge on the tools such as HAPROXY, SNMP, NTP, HTTP, SAMBA, LDAP SFTP, NFS and SMTP
• Software installation and configuration
• Conduct regular OS Performance monitoring and performance tuning
• Strong adaptability and flexibility with environment and other team
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication (German & English) and teamwork abilities.
