Lead Software Engineer/Data Engineer (AWS, Glue, Athena) - £100k - Hybrid

JNC are working closely with a market leading banking organisation who are looking for a Lead Software Engineer/Data Engineer who has strong Python Development skills as well as having highly Data focused AWS expertise.

My clients office is in central London, the expectation on travelling into the office is just 1 day per week (max).

The Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership and mentoring for a team of Software Engineers, each responsible for development and maintenance of their Data Platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills within Software Engineering and Data Engineering, using AWS related technologies (ie Lambda, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, LakeFormation etc.).

Experience Required:

• Software Engineering skills with Python coding capabilities.
• Experience working with Data Lakes and Glue
• Experience working AWS Athena.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of DevOps
• Understanding or IaC and technologies like Terraform
