Lead Project Engineer

Lead Project Engineer - Elgin (3 days on site per week)
£450-£500 per day (inside ir35) - 12 months

My client, a FTSE 100 company, is on the hunt for a Lead Project Engineer to execute individual Capex projects, from concept to handover.

Safe Execution of projects will be the number one priority for the role-holder.

The role will have management responsibility for a portfolio of projects.

The role has full responsibility for delivery of Capex projects. A flexible leadership style is required, which will allow influencing at all levels both internally and externally through coaching, facilitation and cross-functional team working.

Purpose of Role

• To develop, initiate and implement Capex projects, in line with the agreed Annual Operating Plan.
• Liaise and interact with other business functions to ensure that the overall supply operation works in an optimum, cohesive manner both during and after project implementation.
• Deliver optimum shareholder value through excellent delivery of Capex investments.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Proven project management experience
• The ability to hold suppliers and other stakeholders to account
• Demonstrated commercial and negotiation skills
• Analytical problem solving and auditing skills
• Facilitation and coaching skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
