Lead Power BI Developer - £50k - Hybrid - Newcastle

I am currently hiring for a Lead Power BI Developer to join a rapidly expanding team right in the centre of Newcastle, if you have experience leading a team, are an expert in Power BI data visualisation, modelling and reporting, this is the perfect role for you!

Salary & Benefits

• £45k - £50k depending on experience
• Hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office and 3 days from home

Role & Responsibilities

• You will be the lead Power BI professional, overseeing three BI developers in your team
• Mentor more junior team members in both Front End and Back End processes and best practices
• Building, maintaining and redefining data reports
• Implement best practices (aggregation tables, paginated reports etc.)
• Designing high quality, usable reports to aid in stakeholder decision making

What I need to apply for the role

• Must have extensive experience in a Lead/Senior Power BI capacity.
• Must have a Good understanding of standing row-level security (RLS)
• Aware of the prevailing best practices within the industry:
• Aggregation tables, DAX, Dax Studio
• Tabular Studio
• Paginated reports
• Power BI
