Lead Infrastructure Engineer
My client is a leader in their industry and a household name. Their IT Department are at the forefront of technology, and we're committed to creating innovative solutions that drive growth and success.

As they expand their operations through growth, they are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage, optimize, and scale our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and on-prem systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals and requirements.
  • Drive best practices for automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Oversee system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for optimal uptime.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior infrastructure engineers.
  • Stay current with the latest infrastructure trends and technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure infrastructure is secure, compliant with regulations, and resilient to faults.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate infrastructure with applications seamlessly.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience with the core MS suite and peripheral technologies
  • Expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure deployments and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Familiarity with networking, security protocols, and disaster recovery practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on quality.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and possess excellent communications/stakeholder skills couple with a logical and methodical approach to technology.
