Lead Front End Developer

This role will appeal to problem solvers who enjoy maths.

My market leading client has a superb new opening for a Lead Front End Developer to join them on a permanent basis.

This role is based heavily on-site in Cambridge, UK. This is non-negotiable.

Candidates must have at least 5 years commercial Front End development experience, with a strong mathematical/3D graphic software engineering background behind them.

Day-to-day you will mainly be engineering the UI for a 3D visualiser. Experience with calculating shading or applying geometry/3D mathematics is essential.

The client is currently using vanilla JavaScript, however candidates will have autonomy to influence technical choices. This is a great role to have a true outsized influence on their technical direction.

You will also lead a team of 3-4 more junior developers, helping mentor and develop them whilst ensuring code quality etc.

Salary ~£80,000 dependent on experience.
