We are looking for a Lead Developer to mentor and manage an established game engine team, supporting them to develop engaging game mechanics and the technical platform to bring them to our players.
You will be involved in the technical direction of the team and responsible for planning and delivering the content to meet the product roadmap.
A key part of the role is to make sure that our products and solutions are easily transferrable across teams to ensure timely content delivery across multiple territories.

Sounds great! What will I be doing?
Lead and growing a team of developers, supporting content delivery and innovation through performance and reliability. Actively participating, contributing and overseeing the team to deliver products as part of the content roadmap. Engaging with senior stakeholders across various departments, understanding their needs and delivering impactful technical and procedural solutions. Working with other teams to develop collaborative ways of working that make better products, consolidate processes and improve delivery timelines. Improving the technical landscape with the focus on observability.
What will I be doing (but in bullet points)
Utilising your technical expertise to be part of a development team to solve complex problems and build reliable, well documented and highly available cloud solutions
Manage the lifecycle of key technical projects from inception to deployment. Apply problem solving techniques to find solutions to develop engaging game mechanics.
Continually innovating and strategizing. Be deeply involved in the planning of technical projects and review software design and implementations, promoting an environment of continuous improvement.
Demonstrate technical leadership by mentoring a team, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment. Ensure professional growth and skill development.
Actively participate in designing and developing complex technical solutions
What does good look like for us?
Knowledge and experience we need you to have
Excellent knowledge of an Object-Orientated Programming language
Strong background in T-SQL
Good understanding of Cloud Computing
Demonstratable experience with all aspects of delivering high volume API's.
Automated testing (unit, integration)
Estimating complex technical stories and breaking them down
Track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines
Prior experience developing solutions and integrating with legacy systems.
Pragmatic and able to adapt working in a fast-paced environment.
We'd love you to have experience in these areas, but it's not essential
iGaming knowledge and experience
Industry experience working with financial transactions.
Working with monolithic databases
Understanding of working in regulated space
