One of our clients is looking for an experienced Lead Developer to join them for a 6 month contract. They are offering circa. £700 per day, inside IR35.

Based in Manchester, they offer hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week on site.

This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.

This pivotal role working on a high priority project at the centre of our client's vision and strategy for growth over the next 5 years. They will be launching a new channel (mobile apps) backed by Back End services. During this role, you will lead the design and development of new cloud-based services, specifically making use of Serverless and Node.js. They need someone with good knowledge of AWS infrastructure, services and tools, since their architecture is based on AWS.

These are the core essentials required for the role:

• Software development experience with Node.js
• Experience building serverless (both compute and databases) on AWS
• You can manage the service components to ensure they meet business needs and performance targets.
• You can explain the importance of developing process efficiency and the common ways in which processes are optimised.
• You can design solutions and services with security controls Embedded, specifically engineered as mitigation against security threats as a core part of the solutions and services.
• Prototyping skills and experience.
• You can translate logical designs into physical designs. You can produce detailed designs
• You can build and test simple interfaces between systems, or work on more complex integration as part of a wider team
• You know how to collaborate with user researchers and can represent users internally
