Job Description

THE KIND OF PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Open to learning other disciplines (design, campaigning, etc.)

THE KIND OF WORK YOU'LL DO:

  • Custom CMS: Filament (Used to use Nova)
  • Organisation websites: WordPress (we don't do a huge amount of these - when we do we use Timber, but interested in trying Sage)

THE KIND OF TOOLS THAT YOU'LL USE:

  • Project management: Trello
  • Design: Figma

THE KIND OF PROJECTS YOU'LL WORK ON:

  • Create a postcode look-up tool that shows health data per constituency
  • Create an app for users to record a "selfie" video of support for a campaign

ABOUT C6

C6 specialises in tech and strategy for progressive causes - dedicated to leveraging technology for social impact, primarily in advocacy and campaigning. Our partners are not-for-profit groups and organisations that share a common vision for change.

Started in 2020, C6 was set up to provide more holistic digital support for campaigners and organisers. Since then, we have partnered with many organisations to work on various key moments like working with the UK Labour Party on 2024 General Election; with Greenpeace on holding fossil fuel companies accountable for environmental damage; and with grassroots coalition End Fossil Finance to bring voices of Indigenous People and activists to financial regulators from around the world gathered in Switzerland.

We are a small, close-knit, cross functional core team and a group of consultants who value diversity, collaboration, and a commitment to progressive change. A successful candidate will be working on tech-for-change projects alongside the opportunity to refine campaigning and campaign strategy skills.

We are committed to fostering a workplace that embraces diversity and promotes inclusivity. We believe that a diverse team brings fresh perspectives and ideas, driving innovation and success.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals from underrepresented communities, those with disabilities, and people of all genders, sexual orientations, and ages.

APPLICATION PROCESS

To apply for this role, we ask you to complete an online application form where you'll respond to a series of questions tailored to assess your skills, experience, and alignment with the role's requirements. This approach allows us to focus on your abilities and potential rather than traditional cover letters. We will use your responses to guide our shortlisting process and identify candidates whose skills and experiences best align with the role.
