Laboratory Assistant

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant, to join our client based in Cornwall. This is a permanent role, where the successful candidate will provide technical support within their metallurgical laboratory.

The Laboratory Assistant Role:

• Assist in preparing metallurgical samples for testing and analysis.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine metallurgical tests.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and other relevant data.
• Calibrate laboratory instruments and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist in organizing and storing samples and materials.

Your Background:

• High school diploma or equivalent or an associate s degree in a related field.
• Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a metallurgical or materials science environment.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
