L&H Actuary - 6 months - London - Umbrella rate £850/£900 per day (max)

Join the London office of a Portfolio Monitoring & Insights EMEA team to assist with the accelerate of the timelines of deliverables on high priority activities.

This L&H Reinsurance team works in close collaboration with various internal functions in Life & Health (L&H) and in partnership with Market Units in Continental Europe, UK & Ireland and Middle East & Africa.

To apply your CV must demonstrate they following 3 essentials skills/experience:

• Excellent technical skills and strong knowledge of IFRS17 with experience in Valuation, Pricing, Experience Studies or ideally a mixture.
• Experience formulating assumption bases and developing new or adjusting existing cashflow models.
• Be an independent and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to get things done and deliver value to the business and their clients.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Actuary, at least 2-3 years post qualification.
• 8+ years working experience in the L&H insurance/reinsurance market
• A 2nd European language would be a plus but NOT a mandatory requirement (team speak English)
