Your new role

Day-to-day, short-term, long-term and flexible supply teaching in KS1 in Torquay and surrounding areas.

As a KS1 supply teacher with Hays, you will be provided with all the necessary information to ensure you are comfortable with the position you are in, with regular after-care check-ins, ongoing support from experienced consultants and continued support in growth and development.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a relevant field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent certification
• In-class teaching experience within the last 5 years
• Right to work in the UK
• Willing to undertake a DBS check
• Able to receive calls or texts at 7am about supply needed for that day
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning
• Have a strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and create an inclusive environment
