Position Overview

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for maximizing the potential of the company's product offerings within their assigned territory in Poland. The primary focus will be on managing and growing key accounts, delivering key selling messages, providing exceptional customer service, and solving complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The KAM will engage with clinical oncologists, oncological surgeons, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals, primarily working within hospital settings. The goal is to drive product adoption, enhance relationships, and achieve sales targets by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.

Essential Duties

  • Drive sales growth and meet sales objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as clinical oncologists, oncological surgeons, pathologists, and other decision-makers.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within both existing and new accounts.
  • Conduct product presentations at local conferences, workshops, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Lead discussions with medical professionals to educate them on the product's benefits, leading them through the adoption process.
  • Collaborate closely with the Country Manager and Marketing Team to align with broader commercial objectives and strategies.
  • Attend national and regional conferences, meetings, and workshops to represent the company and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Provide ongoing customer support, including helping with the logistical needs of key personnel and ensuring smooth product ordering and usage.
  • Continuously build knowledge of the product and its applications through training and self-learning.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Uphold the company's values of accountability, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including quality management procedures.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in oncology, diagnostics, or specialty care.
  • Proven ability to manage key accounts, build long-term relationships, and drive sales results.
  • Strong understanding of the oncology care landscape, especially in breast cancer.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in Polish and English.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage a territory efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with healthcare professionals, explain complex products, and influence decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region, including overnight stays and attending conferences.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, procurement teams, and key decision-makers within the healthcare system.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement processes within the Polish healthcare system.
  • Prior experience working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
