Junior Security Engineer - Freelance in Brussels

We currently have a Junior Information Security Engineer role available at our client.

Location: Hybrid/Remote (Brussels-based)

Contract: Freelance | Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems and respond to alarms.
• Investigate incidents using logs and root cause analysis.
• Test and fine-tune security alarms and response procedures.
• Collaborate on process improvements and future incident prevention.
• Document incidents and propose corrective actions

Must-Have Skills:

• Windows, SIEM tools, databases, networks, and ServiceNow.
• ICT Knowledge: Incident management and root cause analysis.

Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of malware, cyber-attack techniques, network security, and Firewalls.
