The role
As Junior Corporate Content Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Damen Naval's internal and external communications. You will assist with content development and manage content across digital platforms.

Key accountabilities

As Junior Corporate Content Specialist your responsibilities will include:

• Crafting and executing the content calendar, including articles, press releases, and social media posts aligned with strategic goals.
• Leading internal communications, sharing company updates, event announcements, and the internal newsletter.
• Managing content uploads to our CMS and Digital Asset Management system.
• Coordinating our social media platforms to boost engagement and brand visibility.
• Creating and editing visual assets tailored for social media.
• Translating materials seamlessly between Dutch and English.
• Optimising content with insights from the digital marketing team.
  

Skills & experience
For the Junior Corporate Content Specialist vacancy, Damen Naval is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Skills: eye for detail, results-driven, team-oriented, flexible, and a natural networker.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language both written and verbal.
• Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
