Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team in the payments area. The team is responsible for a application, which plays a crucial role in preventing financial economic crimes, such as Fraud and anti-money laundering.

Project details:

- Location: Utrecht
- Type: Hybrid
- Duration: 12 months, with internal takeover

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your extensive experience in Java, AWS, and other relevant technologies to contribute to the team's success.
• Write clean code, apply design patterns, and mentor team members in best coding practices.
• Continuously improve code quality, identify, and address inefficiencies, and provide
• solutions for enhancement.
• Take full ownership of the software development life cycle, from design to production,
• adhering to a DevOps mindset.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer sciences or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java 8 or higher.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Previous experience in software development, preferably within the financial sector, with a strong preference for the payment sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
