Java Developer - Front Office Development

Core Java Developers to join a leading investment bank in Canary Wharf (Hybrid).

The Opportunity:

We are working with a Global Investment Bank that is embarking on a groundbreaking project to build an entire eTrading platform from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a low-latency eTrading system using Core Java.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build a high-performance trading platform.

• Ensure the system meets the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Core Java development within a low-latency environment.

• Proven expertise in electronic trading systems (no preference on asset class).

• Knowledge of containerisation technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience within electronic trading, specifically rates or eFX, is a plus.
