Job Description

In this role, you'll take charge of overseeing projects from start to finish, shaping the project framework, assigning roles, building teams, and creating detailed plans. You'll also be responsible for identifying potential risks, managing them proactively, and ensuring consistent progress tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Description

  • Establish and confirm project objectives, deliverables, timelines, quality standards, and budget parameters to align with business needs and expectations.
  • Create and implement the project framework, including defining roles and assembling teams to support successful and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and provide progress updates on project activities, ensuring alignment with scope while maintaining robust change management practices.
  • Ensure adherence to established project methodologies and governance standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
  • Oversee and ensure structured management and reporting throughout all phases of the project, including the management of key stage gates.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and show flexibility to adapt beyond traditional project management responsibilities when needed to ensure project success.

Profile

A successful IT Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in IT project management
  • Worked within various industries/corporate environments
  • Able to work within Waterfall methodology
  • Track record of demonstrating versatility and adaptability in handling various responsibilities
  • Proven experience in effectively engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders
  • Capable of proposing forward-thinking solutions
