While Splunk serves as the primary tool, experience with other observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and OpenTelemetry is advantageous. The Observability Stream is essential for delivering both reactive and proactive insights into AACB's infrastructure and application environments.

Our team operates globally within a DevOps framework, following Agile Scrum methodologies, and is dedicated to providing an automated, user-friendly platform. We are a skilled, customer-focused team that thrives on overcoming complex technical challenges.

Role

We are looking for Platform Engineers with the right combination of skills, experience, and passion for solving challenging problems. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of compliant, reliable, and scalable global solutions that meet business service level expectations, ensuring high performance across different environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the Observability platform, with a focus on Splunk.
  • Design, implement, and configure both new and existing platform solutions across various business units.
  • Develop and manage automation scripts and configuration management tools.
  • Ensure that security is integrated into all platform solutions and maintain compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to design and implement a global infrastructure that supports both current and future projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the Development Services team and Product Grid teams on best practices for platform usage.
  • Serve as a liaison with third-party support, escalating issues when required.
  • Coordinate with global teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participate in High Availability and Disaster Recovery testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Splunk Engineer in a DevOps environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture, system administration, and data administration.
  • Proficiency in data onboarding, dashboard creation, and advanced search functionalities within Splunk, along with experience in related technologies.
  • Expertise in working within Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with project management and change management practices, particularly Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with global stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a globally distributed team across different time zones.

We are seeking highly motivated team players who possess a professional mindset and can excel in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
