IT Engineer - Windows, Linux, Python, French/Eng - this is a long term contract for our client in the agricultural sector in Monthey.

Your tasks:

• Participate in the implementation of OT and Cybersecurity projects.
• Provide operational technical support to guarantee the availability of IoT architectures and networks
• Apply solutions, standards and processes to guarantee the sustainability and cost control of IoT infrastructure life cycles.
• Provide operational and technical support to project teams for IoT extension, retrofit, cybersecurity or proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.
• Apply standards within the IoT and Cyber perimeter and contribute to their improvement in support of the technical referents.
• Apply the maintenance strategy for IoT architectures, in liaison with the contract manager, stakeholders and technical referents.
• Participate in the implementation of protection systems (SIEM, probes, vulnerabilities) as part of projects to ensure the processing of events and incidents

Your experience/knowledge:

• More than 5 years' professional experience in IS, IT and OT
• Experience in maintenance or commissioning
• Excellent knowledge of OT architectures and information systems in industrial environmentsMaster's degree in IT or equivalent.
• At least Bachelor's degree level
• Proficiency of different backup models and of Veritas and Veeam solutions and Synology technology (NAS).Mastery of virtualization solutions: Hyper-v, VMWare, Nutanix, proxmox
• Mastery of Scripting solutions: PowerShell, Ansible, Python
  Proficiency of OS level 1 administration: Linux, Windows server 2012,2016 and 2019/22, Active Directory and GPO,Trellix (EPO)
• Knowledge of networking and network architecture (TCP/IP Addressing) would be a plus
• Knowledge of SQL server database (queries and joins, maintenance plan)
• Cybersecurity awareness (purpose of a DMZ, Firewall, best practices)
• High capacity for cross-functional collaboration.
• Good change management skills
• Ability to analyze/organize/steer action plans.
• High HSE sensitivity.
