Overview:
As an IT Apprentice, you will be providing support to NHS trust based within the hospital NHS - You will be liaising with staff within the trust and provide support if required to others.

Salary:
£17,000 per annum.

Duties: You will be involved with the following tasks such as:

Providing remote first line support
Desktop migrations from one domain to another Office 365 Mailbox setup and configuration
Active Directory configuration (users and computers)
Windows PC and laptop roll outs
Installing printer and toners
Travelling to NHS sites and providing preventative maintenance support

Desirable skills:

Communication skills, as well as the ability to work with a team and use initiative
IT knowledge / IT hardware skills
Attention to detail and organisation skills
Problem solving skills

Personal qualities:

Time keeping
Presentation skills
Analytical skills
Able to work under pressure and on client sites

Entry requirements:

3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
