Interim Surveyor

One of Morgan Law's public sector clients requires a Surveyor to lead on the acquisition and disposal of a range of properties, securing development opportunities and delivering best value for money.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the acquisitions and disposals strategy
• Implement a strategic development plan to maximise the value of the property portfolio.
• Oversee the acquisition process for new properties and identify potential acquisition opportunities
• Lead on negotiations with landowners and developers to secure optimal terms for property acquisitions and disposals.
• Oversee the market research and property appraisals to identify opportunities and provide accurate valuations.
• Negotiate on development agreements and land sale agreements, to secure optimal terms and best value
• Provide advice on property valuation and development appraisals
• Oversee valuation reports for various property types, ensuring accuracy and in accordance with RICS standards.
• Ensure compliance with planning law and building regulations.

Person Specification:

• A Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS.
• Track record in development surveying within a local authority
• Extensive experience in conducting valuations
