We have an exciting opportunity within our Marketing Department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Interim Global Brand and Communications Director.
About the role:
You will join on a full time, fixed term basis for one year (35 hours per week).
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the communications and marketing of the founding school, Wellington College (WC) in the UK, and building its reputation as one of the most prestigious and pioneering schools in the world. You will also lead the development of a cohesive and dynamic global brand strategy and presence for Wellington College Education (WCE), that will include, among other entities, supporting our partner (franchisee) schools across multiple countries in building and sustaining their regional/national marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities (Including but not limited to; see job description for full requirements):
Wellington College and Wellington College Prep:
- Support the development and delivery of a UK (and global) brand and communications strategy for the founding school; Wellington College and Wellington College Prep.
Wellington College Education:
- Lead the creation, development and delivery of a global brand and communications strategy for Wellington College Education.
Strategic Communications, PR, Media, Crisis Management and Though Leadership, Team Management:
- Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including media contacts and build and protect WCE/WC's reputation in the media, social media and in public discourse, including crisis management.
Person Specification
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Vocational qualification in relevant discipline i.e. Marketing, PR, Communications or equivalent.
- Degree level educated.
