Interim Assistant Accountant

Interim Assistant Accountant required for Havant-based business

Your new company
You will be working for an organisation which I have worked with a number of times in the past, who are seeking an interim Assistant Accountant to support with month-end, year-end audit and other financial support (AR, AP, VAT etc.)
Your new role
You will be supporting the finance function in Havant with AP, AR, VAT and month-end. Tasks as below:

• Updating the cashbook, and ensuring efficient management of General Ledger
• Bank Reconciliations
• Cash forecasting
• Month End support with Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Checking VAT posting
• Provide cover for payroll in the absence of Financial Controller
• Support both Sales & Purchase Ledger
• Assisting with Annual Audits
• Assisting with budget preparation.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will require full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience in a finance team.
  
• Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or AAT - or QBE
  
• Flexibility on hours between 25 and 37.5 dependent on fit for the role.
  

What you'll get in return

• You will earn between £16 and £18ph + holiday
