Job Description
Interim Accounts Payable Assistant required for local organisation

Your new company
You will be working for a local organisation looking for support within their finance team, with the addition of a temp-to-perm AP Assistant
Your new role

  • Raising purchase orders and recording goods received notes.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Ensure that financial reports are generated in a timely manner on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, as directed.
  • Verify and process new supplier set-ups and any amendment requests, providing guidance as required.
  • Handle internal and external customer enquiries and disputes by liaising with colleagues and customers.
  • Monitor and manage the southern accounts' mailbox, ensuring that customer correspondence is dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitoring reports from other departments and ensuring that any supporting information is collected and collated.
  • Ensure staff adhere to FC procurement guidelines and offer guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Carry out audits and check data to ensure information held on the Contracts Database is current and correct
What you'll need to succeed
  • Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working within a UK Finance function
  • Prior exposure to Accounts Payable
