Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer x2 - Coventry (on-site 1 day per fortnight) - £35,000 - £60,000 DOE + on call allowance

Robert Half are working with a global MSP on the recruitment of 2 Infrastructure/Cloud Engineers.

The role is based in Coventry but only requires engineers to be on-site 1 day per fortnight.

The client are looking for candidates at various levels so will consider candidates from a 2nd/3rd line background up to a Senior engineer level.

There is also on call required 1 week in 4 - there is an additional payment for any weeks where you are on-call

Key Duties

• Act as Technical Lead on projects to transform clients infrastructure and migrate to the MSP's cloud services.
• Assist with the ongoing management, maintenance and expansion of Infrastructure.
• Lead, coordinate and participate in technology and process improvements as they relate to cloud services and the cloud platform
• Design and implement policies, procedures and technologies to ensure performance and availability.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering
• Strong Windows Server
• Advanced knowledge of Cloud infrastructures - VMware
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, with CCNA certification desirable or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing, installing, configuring and maintaining server, storage and network hardware
• VCP/MCSE certification preferred
