Huxley Associates Belgium - Several Business Analysts Needed

We are looking for several business analysts for different clients in the energy sector. We have multiple positions available.

Responsibilities: can vary depending on the client

• Identify and evaluate business requirements for the asset management of renewable energy systems, integrating them into the electrical Grid and power markets, and facilitating renewable energy trading
• Model the business data involved in development and evolution and accompany the development of an enterprise Data Warehouse
• Analyse and describe the requirements for the solution
• Write functional requirements documents
• Coordinate the implementation of applications from different fields within cross-functional projects
• Validate the functional analysis supplied by IT to check that the proposed solution completely meets specifications
• Support the business in specifying and running software validation tests (UAT) + coordiante integration tests
• Contribute to backlog refinement, prioritization, and provide clarification during PI Planning
• Work with business users, product owners, and technical teams to document clear, detailed, and testable requirements

Requirements: can vary depending on the client

• Strong experience in gathering and defining functional and non-functional requirements
• Python and SQL skills with experience in software development, data science or related fields
• Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, user stories, use cases)
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe/Scrum), particularly in Agile Release Train processes, PI Planning, and backlog management
• Understanding of Data & Analytics concepts (including data platforms, data governance, data management) and of Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
• In-depth knowledge of power markets, with expertise in renewable technologies and their specificities with regard to asset management and energy trading

5+ years experience

Location: Brussels - All clients have a hybrid remote work policy

️ Depending on the clients, candidates need to be bilingual (ENG + FR or NL) or trilingual (EN + FR + NL)
