Our client is now looking for a Housing First Team Leader to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

THE ROLE

In this crucial role, your focus will be on the service delivery of our client's Housing First model. You will work with staff and management teams to deliver this innovative model of housing society's most vulnerable people; you will help them drive forward a collective vision of inclusion and participation across the organisation. Housing First is a service of that provides independent tenancies with registered social landlords via the council nomination process and intensive personalised support to rough sleepers who have not progressed through any supported accommodation pathway.

The purpose of the Housing First Team Leader is to co-ordinate a comprehensive service to the accommodation-based schemes in multiple boroughs that are provided to former homeless clients with whom our client works with. The post will work in direct partnership with the Outreach Team, as well as other relevant services within the boroughs to ensure that clients in accommodation receive a planned and effective service.

ABOUT YOU

You'll have a broad range of frontline experience; you will have experience of working with people that present with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours. You will have experience of working with processes and systems to achieve continuous improvement across your service remit. You'll have a track record of multi-disciplinary working, case management, risk assessing, data recording, and safeguarding. The ability to build positive and rewarding relationships and influence is essential to this role.
