Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic andenthusiastic History Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive historylessons to students aged 11-18. You will inspire a love for history, developcritical thinking skills, and encourage a deep understanding of historicalevents and their impact on the modern world.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure their academic development.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, fostering a sense of community and school spirit.

Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant degree in History or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Previous experience teaching history at the secondary school level is preferred.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
