Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Term Time Only (39 weeks)

We are looking for a highly-motivated, dedicated and hardworking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA's) to support the learning and development of our pupils across the school.

This role involves supporting Class Teachers in delivering teaching and learning objectives, acting as a role model for learning and best practice for our Teaching Assistants and other key classroom duties.

The successful candidate will have:

• An understanding of the needs and development of learners
• A good knowledge of positive behaviour management strategies
• Ability to identify purposeful interventions and deliver or oversee their delivery and effectiveness
• Experience of working in a special school or similar setting
• Experience of planning and delivering whole class lessons.
• A calm and professional approach
• Support the teacher in overseeing the day-to-day work of TAs
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the our provision

Please Note: The role will involve some planning, preparation and delivering of lessons under the supervision of the Class Teacher. This is a requirement of the post. An HLTA qualification would be an advantage.
