We're looking for a HGV Driver to join our Transportation team based in Wymondham.

Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
Hours: 48 hours per week - Fixed term contract: April 2025 - September 2025
What will you be responsible for?
As HGV Driver, you'll be working within the Transport team, supporting them in delivering and transferring bitumen emulsion from road barrel tanker to client's storage units or spray tankers.
Your day to day will include:
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and traffic management procedures, communicating with team members and supervisors coordinating work and resolving issues
- Driving a HGV, assisting the drivers with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment as needed along with written and electronic records
- Helping with the safe and efficient operation of excavators and other heavy equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures, including timekeeping and attendance
- Recording and reporting any incidents or accidents on site, maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and vehicles
- Assisting with the set-up and breakdown of work sites, carrying out any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
What are we looking for?
This role of HGV Driver is great for you if:
- You hold a full Class C or Class CE driving licence (depending on role) also driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card
- Have experience working in a similar role, such as a construction or labouring with good knowledge of health and safety regulations, strong communication, teamworking skills and a current CSCS card
- Can show a willingness to learn new skills, work in shifts and be available to work overtime when required
