Health and Wellbeing Coordinator

We are currently recruiting a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, which is a newly created role to join a growing charity who have recently opened our new sensory hub in the heart of Perth

Job Title: Health and Wellbeing Coordinator

Location: Sensory Hub, George Street Perth (with travel across Perth and Kinross)

Salary: £25,861 - £27,141 (pro rata)

Contract: Part-time, 18 hours per week over 3 days (Fixed-term contract for 2 years)

About Us:

You will be working with an exciting and growing charity, recently opening their new Sensory Hub in the heart of Perth. They provide specialist services for people with sight loss, hearing loss, or who are deaf, living within the Perth and Kinross local authority area.

The Role:

The Health and Wellbeing Coordinator is a newly created role, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. This role is central to promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of individuals with sensory impairments, both within the community and at the Sensory Hub.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Health and Wellbeing Programme Development and Delivery
  • Partnership Building and Collaboration

About You:

  • Experience in delivering health and wellbeing programmes, particularly for individuals with disabilities or sensory impairments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with external organisations.
  • A proactive, compassionate, and organised individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
