Health and Safety Adviser

About the role:

Looking to recruit a Health & Safety Adviser to work alongside an existing team to support Services within the Local Authority.

The role will provide an exciting opportunity to support, guide, advise Service Areas in ensuring that their health and safety responsibilities are met.

About you:

• An experienced health and safety practitioner
• Knowledge or experience of health and safety within a Local Authority.
• Motivated
• Enthusiastic
• A desire to deliver a high quality advisory service.

What you will do:

• Provide a full health and safety support service to specific Service Areas
• Undertake accident investigations
• Undertake workplace monitoring via inspections and audits.
• Develop relationships within Service Areas to ensure that health and safety standards are maintained
