Our client is a family of 25 independent girls schools including two academies across England and Wales. Since forming in 1872, the organisation continues to be at the forefront of education for girls providing transformational bursary awards to help even more girls learn without limits, now and into the future. Right now, they are seeking a Head of Philanthropy Operations to join on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Location: Hybrid, London

The Head of Philanthropy Operations will lead a team of five with three direct reports and will work closely with the Deputy Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships to ensure the successful delivery of the strategy. The position will lead all philanthropy operations, focusing on overseeing the budget, reporting on the finances and managing the database including the fundraising pipeline. Whilst there is no income target attached to the role, the Head of Philanthropy Operations will have a crucial part to play in the achievements of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team.

The selected candidate will be an experienced leader in fundraising operations, including experience managing budgets, leading reporting processes and overseeing the fundraising database, ideally within a multifaceted organisation. In addition, the successful candidate will have line management experience and crucially, they will be passionate about social mobility. You will need to have the right to work in the UK in order to be eligible for this role.
