A thriving and outstanding independent prep school in Worcestershire are looking for a Head of Music. This can be full or part time and is permanent from January 2025.

The Head is looking for a talented and enthusiastic musician to lead music within this happy, friendly and forward-thinking prep school that is fully committed to striving for the best in all of its pupils. Music plays a central role in the life of this school. There are a number of choirs, orchestras and ensembles running throughout and all of these groups have the opportunity to perform at a range of concerts and assemblies throughout the year.

The successful candidate will be leading a thriving music department. The successful candidate will be confident at teaching music throughout the Primary age range, conducting orchestras and choirs, leading whole-school assembly singing practices and accompanying instrumentalists on the piano.
