Nigel Frank is representing an internationally recognised Manufacturing organisation, assisting their search for a Head of Digital & Applications professional.

This unique opportunity involves leading a team responsible for driving digital innovation, transformation, and information security. Success in this role hinges on understanding business needs and translating them into a digital strategy. Communication is key, bridging technical concepts to a non-technical audience and ensuring seamless service delivery. Join the team in a dynamic environment where collaboration across functions is paramount.

This is a key role in the Technology Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CDIO, where my client are offering a clear and structure pathway to CTO level.

Role & Responsibilities

• Accountable for the vision and technical strategy for digital products, application estate, and data
• Supporting innovation for business value and leading multiple teams to deliver great service levels.
• Rationalizing legacy applications, driving continuous improvement, and providing technical expertise in resolving operational issues.
• Partnering with HR for performance and ensuring IT governance adoption and compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Excels in leading the delivery of enterprise-class application services to drive strategic imperatives.
• Skilled in architecting and maintaining robust application estates aligned with industry best practices.
• Expertise in developing executive-level business cases and nurturing strategic partnerships with stakeholders.
• Well-versed in supporting IT services following ITIL frameworks.
