Head of Data Strategy

Salary, £85 - 107k basic + discretionary bonus, excellent pension & benefits

Hybrid 2 days per week in Brighton

This major Government body is transforming the way it utilises Data, enabling efficiency, security, transparency and customer focus. They are on a fast track transformation, having migrated to Azure and laid the foundations of Enterprise level, Cloud based, data architecture they are now looking for a Senior Data Manager to deliver data solutions aligned to the business strategy.

This is an exciting time to take on the leadership of a large and expanding data team, to ensure the data strategy put customers at the heart of the service.

Key in this role are leading data strategy, teams, stakeholders and innovation to make the enterprise data strategy the key enabler for enhanced customer services and efficiency.

You will need to be able to demonstrate:

• Extensive management of the enterprise data life cycle.
• Data architecture expertise to maintain data integrity and interoperability.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders, internally and externally toward a future vision.
• Above all the understanding of complex data landscapes and how they will deliver against a clear data strategy.

Plus you get the opportunity to send c8 days per month in sunny Brighton, to support and steer the teams on the ground and build the senior stakeholder relationships.
