Halian - Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Your role
As a Full Stack JavaScript Developer, you will be part of the Trading, Investing & Saving Team, responsible for the trading platform, financial products, and other core functionalities. You will collaborate with frontend and backend developers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, testers, product owners, and Scrum masters.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Participating in all phases of software development, from requirements analysis to implementation and testing.
• Contributing to Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, estimation, execution, and delivery.
• Engaging in technical discussions, proposing improvements, and finding innovative solutions for new projects.
• Ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams while maintaining autonomy in delivering solutions.
• Adhering to a flexible remote work policy, allowing a hybrid work environment.

Required technical skills

• Frontend:
  • React.JS with styled-components
  • React Native with styled-components
  • Knowledge of micro frontend architecture
• Backend:
  • Node.js with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of TypeORM or other modern ORM tools
  • API design (REST or gRPC) with OpenAPI/Swagger
• Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, ECS, etc.)
  • TerraForm/Infrastructure-as-Code experience
  • Knowledge of GraphQL
  • Experience with C# .NET

Languages:
Proficiency in English (mandatory)
Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
