Group Reporting Accountant

Your new companyI am currently working with a global insurance company who are looking for a Group Reporting Accountant for a short-term contract position. Based in Central London, this role will play a critical part within the company by providing support to the group's financial reporting team.

Your new role

The key responsibilities include -

• Preparing and producing quarterly and annual Solvency II submissions for the group
• Producing and loading required submissions onto the required software
• Developing and maintaining financial systems to assist with reporting, providing system process improvements along the way
• Responsible for quarterly statutory balance sheet, P&L and cash flow reporting, providing commentary to the group
• Lead and manage financial reporting, month-end processes, ownership of balance sheet
• Regulatory and Statutory Reporting requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant with insurance sector experience
• Strong financial reporting background
• Experience with regulatory reporting, Solvency II, UK GAAP, statutory and group financial reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Experience with Tagetik system would be ideal
