Groundworks Foreman
Salary: £15-£24 per hour
Location: Kingsteignton (Fixed Location)
Our client is seeking a skilled Groundworks Foreman to join their team in the Southwest region. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including excavation work, concreting, drainage, kerbing, paving, highway projects, and building projects.
They provide transport where possible, along with PPE, tools, and training. Long-term employment will be offered after a 3-month trial period.
Desirable Tickets/Accreditations:
- SSSTS
- Driving License
- Dumper/Roller operation
- Tracked Excavator
- CSCS/CPCS
This position can be either employed with benefits or on a self-employed basis, with rates based on skills and experience.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in groundworks
- Holds relevant tickets/accreditations
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Health and Safety conscious
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising groundworks projects
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and to standard
- Conducting site inspections and managing resources
- Coordinating with Site Managers and other trades
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards
