Geography Teacher - Leicester based secondary school - full-time & ongoing - to start ASAP
Hays Education are working with a Leicestershire based secondary school that are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching geography to students in KS3 & KS4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students to learn about the world around them. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Geography Teacher

- Teaching Geography to KS3 & KS4

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching geography to students in KS3 & KS4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students to learn about the world around them. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3&4.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Geography to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students to learn about the world around them.
