Job Description

A leading charity who are dedicated to supporting members of the armed forces community is seeking a proactive and dedicated Fundraising Manager to drive their fundraising initiatives forward.

In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in securing and growing funds from trusts, foundations, and corporate partnerships to support the organisation s impactful services. You'll work within an ambitious team to craft compelling funding applications, build lasting relationships with funders, and contribute directly to expanding services for veterans and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a targeted fundraising plan to identify and pursue new income streams, focusing on high-value grants and strategic partnerships.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with funders, ensuring excellent care and stewardship.
  • Craft persuasive, evidence-based funding applications and impact reports that showcase the charity s achievements.
  • Collaborate closely with service delivery and finance teams to integrate relevant data and impactful stories into applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor engagement and contribute to timely reporting for senior management and trustees.

We re looking for someone with a strong track record in trust and corporate fundraising who brings both creativity and attention to detail. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in successfully securing grants from trusts, foundations, or corporate funders.
  • Excellent research skills to identify and develop new funding opportunities.
  • Strong project management abilities, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
