Job Description
The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are seeking candidates for a Full Professorship in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA) university offers a stimulating and well-equipped research environment with a large network ranging from start-ups, small businesses to large firms to engage in field studies. We are seeking a colleague with a strong focus on contemporary and future challenges in logistics and supply chain management. Emphasis should be placed on one or more of the following aspects: management of global supply chain networks, technology integration and transformation, sustainability as well as procurement. The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in these areas and be capable of developing and researching innovative approaches and solutions to challenges in logistics and supply chain management. We are looking for experienced candidates with an internationally recognized research record in leading journals in the field of management, strong ties with industry, and excellent teaching skills on all levels, including executive education. According to our claim "From insight to impact", the future colleague should convey scientific knowledge with societal relevance to students and have a significant impact on theory and practise. The capability and willingness to join the executive board of an institute is a mandatory requirement. In addition, leading a research team, scholarly commitment and acquiring external funds are an important part of the position.
