Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Fractional Chief Marketing Office (CMO) needed for an initial 12-month engagement with our Consultancy client in Dublin. The right candidate must have extensive demonstrable experience as a senior marketing leader, working within professional services or consultancy environments and capable of translating complex intellectual property into scalable, market-driven offerings. The ideal candidate will not only lead marketing efforts but will also work closely with senior leadership to shape the organisations commercial trajectory, ensuring marketing is a key driver of business expansion.

This is a part time, strategic leadership role, designed for an executive who can bring a blend of brand positioning, digital strategy, and commercial innovation to our clients' consultancy business.

The role is Inside IR35, 2.5 days per week and predominantly remote with occasional travel to Dublin.

Key Skills & Experience required:

• Demonstrable Senior-level marketing experience, preferably in professional services, consultancy, or strategy-focused industries.
• Proven expertise in productizing consulting services-translating methodologies into structured, scalable offerings.
• Deep understanding of B2B marketing, content strategy, and lead generation in a knowledge-driven business.
• Background in philosophy, principles-driven leadership, or organisational behaviour-able to integrate these into marketing narratives.
• Strong mentorship capabilities to develop the marketing team and align them with business objectives (there is a requirement for line management as an aspect of the role).
• Exceptional storytelling, communication, and brand positioning skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives.
• Experience with marketing analytics, CRM platforms, and automation tools to improve performance and decision-making.
