The position: Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated professional to join them as an FP&A Analyst. They are looking for a proactive individual who leads conversations and drives financial recommendations to site management. This individual will serve as the financial point of contact for site leadership across multiple functions, including but not limited to operations, supply chain, and customer account management. The responsibilities include month-end close processes, in-year and long-range forecasting, and variance analysis, all requiring direct communication with site leadership.

This role works onsite at the DTC Almere facility.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Support monthly financial reporting and key close processes;
  • Manage CAPEX budgeting, actuals reporting, and fixed assets compliance;
  • Provide financial guidance to Operations Managers, Customer Accounts Managers, and Supply Chain Management;
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance and data analysis;
  • Provide cost and financial analysis/reporting, highlighting key risks and opportunities;
  • Support annual and long-range strategic financial business plans;
  • Prepare and present key operating data for monthly reviews with site leadership;
  • Support audit requests and various ad-hoc projects;
  • Continuously look for ways to improve current processes and automate tasks.

Qualifications / Experience needed:

  • Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience;
  • Excellent computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with Excel;
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken, Dutch speaking is a big plus;
  • Strong team player skills.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

  • Financial planning and analysis experience in a corporate environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial scenarios;
  • Finance experience within the aerospace industry.
